ABOUT US

Inverell’s Sapphire City Festival is an annual 10-day cultural gem that celebrates the town’s rich history, community creativity, and regional charm.

With a variety of activities for all ages, the festival reinforces local pride and attracts visitors from neighbouring regions to experience all Inverell has to offer!

The Festival has always been driven by a community-based committee. As a not-for-profit organisation, it relies on generous sponsorships each year, enabling the Committee to provide a range of enjoyable entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Many committee members also represent their own organisations, contributing additional events and activities during the Festival period. This collaborative approach ensures a diverse and vibrant program each year.

Everyone is welcome to join the Committee. For more information, please contact Tourism Inverell.
